I don't see the word "FREE" anywhere. Hopefully it will be.
I've been using the free (for now) email forwarding service they offer with the account. I like that a lot. |

Hmm, I never thought of that. I suspect it will be free, here is a statement from Google in their help section:
* Over the next several weeks, we are introducing POP access to all of our users. To make sure the feature is fully stable, we're giving users access to POP in phases. Once POP access is available to you, a 'New Features!' link appears at the top of your account, along with a 'Forwarding and POP' tab on your 'Settings' page. |

That's cool! POP access would make it much more appealing to me. I still don't have an account. Could someone who has a spare invite send me one: <personal info removed to prevent spam>. It'd be much appreciated! TIA |

I have an invite still, what's your first and last name, at least the one you want it sent as? |

I used my other email accounts to have them forward to gmail since I got it... works excellent, I like their spam box, when you click "delete forever" it really is gone forever heh heh |

PWI - it's kinda handy having pop3 mail accounts, I have a pop3 server I use for my personal emails, but when I'm on the road, I can still use http://www.mail2web.com to collect from a pop3 box (although you could just use the gmail interface in this case!)
How are you doing, by the way? |

I just noticed that if you use Outlook Express or Outlook, they offer an auto configuration application. It really is nice having POP access, especially if you have multiple GMail accounts. |
