please anyone can help me:
how can i get the physically ftp path like the one which is displayed in the whereami.asp, for web-site hosted directory, is there any way? please contact me or answer me soon in this topic...

look, whereami page displays the physical path for the databse to enter it in the config.asp page, but i just asid it as example, my QUESTION IS:
HOW CAN I GET PHYSICAL FTTP PATH FOR A SITE DIRECTORY HOST...???

its specify the path for database, but then you'll have the site or forum hosted path adnw hcih you can locate by the forum or the site files by ftp upload, i just want to know how to get the physical path for a site????????

Simple: place whereami.asp in the root folder for the site and execute whereami.asp. The physical path of the folder will be shown by whereami.asp. Of course, the physical path won't include the final file name snitz_forums_2000.mdb. |

yes, i know that, but i want to know how to get the physical path for any site (not mine) and which i cannot upload to it whereami.asp, there is ways to do it, im sure 100% but the problem that i dont know how, thats why im posting here and which its too important to me, any reply or solution would be much appreciated, thanks...

There maybe variations to it, but basically you'd always need to run a script in the site. It really doesn't matter if the method used is the one in whereami.asp or not. |
