I'm not sure if this is a built-in feature or not. Can someone please tell me if there's an easy way to enable account registration approval, meaning someone has to manually approve whether someone can become a member or not? Say someone registers, they get a message that says they have to wait for approval. The admin of the forum gets an e-mail saying so and so wants to register, with a link to approve or reject. Is that possible?
Thanks,
Sarah

Okay, thanks. One more question. After you've approved a member, why do they stay in the members pending table? The option to delete sounds like you'll delete their account. Will it just delete them from that page, or will it really delete that member?
Thanks,
Sarah

It will really delete them. Thay stay on the page until they have processed the authentication. Some NEVER do, so I give them 15 days (when the counter turns red & bold) then remove them .... these are usually the most abusive members or spammers. They "need" instant access and when they can't get it they are not interested.
