Has anyone got a way to display the latest 5 topics on a different (non-forums) page? I was using SimpleSlash, but it's stopped working and I haven't been able to fix it. All i need is a simple ~150 chars of the topic on the home page, then a link directly to the topic.

Thanks,
Rory

Well, the Simple Slash MOD does exactly what you want... what do you mean with it stopped working?
Any error messages?
Can you post a link to your site/forum?

My MODs:
Birthdays - Custom Policy - F.A.Q. Administration - Forum Rules - Guestbook
Links Manager - MyOwnGoogle - Profile Views - Search Log - WebSearch

Useful stuff:
Forum and MOD Installation - MOD Installation Guide - Snitz v3.4.05 Readme - Free ASP Hosts - Support Snitz

Hi,
I posted more details on it here, but got no replies:
http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=55127
It seems like SimpleSlash isn't listed among the mods, so I thought maybe it was abandoned. Sorry, Snitz is on an internal test IP right now, but I don't think the link would help you much. My other post has the code snippet causing the error, and what I think is happening.

Check above post for the exact error. I just re-checked today, and I appear to heve the correct code, but I'm still getting the same error.
This seems like a fairly common thing to do - post "recent topics" elsewhere on your site, so I wondered if there's any other existing code to do it.

Thanks,
Rory
