How does this feature work from a DB point of view? For anyone not familiar with it, it essentially provides a suggested spell-checked equivalent of the current search term.
My *guess* is that it's the most common soundex match from exisiting database content?

I think it'a a bit richer than that, maybe also based on a catalogue of the most popularly appearing terms?

You can do some cool experiments if you download their Web Services SDK, and can use the 'did you mean' service (for non-profit max 10khits a day) in your own apps :)
