Hi
From time to time I perform a search for my domain on different search engines. When I last did a search with Yahoo it returned several hits from another domain, containing my domain name in the description, and text which seams so be automatically harvested from my forum using the forum search (search.asp). Then when people search for terms related to my web site they get hits from that other site. When I go to that site there is only a spam type message on that page. Does anyone else have experience like that? Is there any way to avoid it? I have implemented all security related updates to may 3.4.03 Snitz.

Doubt there's anythinh ou can do to your site to change this - if the info appears on your site for a valid search engine spider to find and catalogue, then this malsite can get the same info. Ask Yahoo to consider the problem, and maybe they'll rethink their weighting algorithm - it is in their interest to return good quality hits, after all!
