Hi all, some of the forms I'm working on have "& currency" (without the space) as one word. When I post the topic that is automatically converted to "¤cy" I thought it was something wrong with my setup but as you can see the same thing happens here. Is there any way of fixing this?
I agree David, BTW I checked the inc_func_common and inc_func_posting but found nothing. No reference in there or clue as to what is changing the text over. Hopefully someone has a suggestion
I just tried it on my forum then, and it worked fine. It was strange that everytime I included a link back to a reply in a topic it would put the ¤ symbol in place of the "&" and would stop it from linking correctly. I have done a test here: 2004 Australian Historic Championships (nothing to do with the topic, just a test) and it would not link correctly.

Well, it's not a feature of the bad word filter and it's apparently caused by the & linked with only the first six letters. If you type &curre it displays correctly and anything after the n will also display correctly. Maybe there's something in the code which looks for the word "current" (as in image, etc)?
