hi there,
I am using version 3.4, access database, strConnString type virtual path, I am not sure what kind of server is being used, it is www.homepages.paradise.net.nz/fullom
I am not a programmer and I hope I am not out of my depth in trying to attempt this.
I have uploaded the forum files and the database file, I believe I have followed the readme file by editing the config file.
So I have accessed the setup.asp file via the web browser online.
It comes up as a text page full of code etc...
Please explain what I should do next to activate the set up...? ( for want of a better word )
Any help is much appreciated. |

Hi, risto.
Have you checked if your provider supports dinamic content? That is, if ASP execution is not allowed, instead of running setup, it will just show its content... just as it seems to be doing. |
