Howdy All!
First post here, so please be nice.....

Is there an easy way to lock down a forum so that no new topics can be created, yet have the topics that are there be unlocked so they can be replied to?

The reson being is that I have admins/moderators that I want to allow to create topics in a particular forum, but I don't want my normal users to create topics. I do, however, want them to be able to reply to the posted topics.

Thanks much

rusty

Well, that technically does what I need (preventing a user's post from showing up), but I was really looking for a way to prevent the post all together and just avoid the potential questions/confusion. I'll work with that for now. Perhaps a mod to "Block New Topics" could be put together.

Thanks for the help.
