Hi everybody;

finally I decided to show-off mine as well - please have a look and feel free to make comments about the look and feel or whatever you would like to...

Any input is appreciated!

Please note that the forum the following link is pointing to is not available for download. I am using some asp components in the forum which you would have to purchse in order to use them.

Here we go:

A very nice looking your forum !

The navigation on the left hand side really integrates your website and forum well.

Site looks good in ie6, but doesn't work too well in FireFox (my default browser). The forum is fine - its just the left hand menus. The header part is detatched from the rest of that section. Best bet would be to check it yourself in Firefox.
Not as bad in Opera, but the layout is not the same as ie.

Apart from that, i like the colour scheme and the fact you have no header. Not often you see that. I haven't gone further goes i can only read english (sorry).

same as, imn using firefox, and theres that small problem. probably got somthing to do with setting table widths, nice design though, and good navigation...lack of a header bothers me...although if i understood german, perhaps it would be more obvious that its not needed.

Looks good, very well integrated as The Impact said.
I also like the icons, the colors and the layout generally.

A few things though:
- I personally would remove the Hover Color MOD, or change the color (it currently changes to the page background color, and that doesn't look too good IMO)
- the background color in the statistics table is darker than the forum's, I'd change that

That's all for now.

My MODs:
Birthdays - Custom Policy - F.A.Q. Administration - Forum Rules - Guestbook
Links Manager - MyOwnGoogle - Profile Views - Search Log - WebSearch

Useful stuff:
Forum and MOD Installation - MOD Installation Guide - Snitz v3.4.05 Readme - Free ASP Hosts - Support Snitz

Hi, proeder.

I agree with OWM, I personally prefer the hover colours not to be so different from the normal background, I prefer slight transitions.

Apart of that, it's a great forum, I really like it. How have you made these XP-style dropdown navigation boxes, uing one of the ASP components you mentioned?

Best Regards

Mikel Perez

Thanks to all,

You were rigth with the hover colors, I think it looks much nicer now. Unfortunately I could not test it with FireFox so far - actually I had never heard of FireFox so far...

BTW: The slight menu can be found at http://www.obout.com

You're welcome.

I fixed that FireFox issue, the only thing to be left seems to be the footer table which does not seem to fit the whole page in firefox.

Hmmm...

I use FireFox and it looks all right to me but you said you fixed it so thats good. It looks very nice but I do also think that it might look better if the statistics background matched the others.
