Hey, my last topic has gone into the archive so here's a refresher. The site has gone undergone some major changes. I have many mods, some custom written for my needs. First with the ones available around here:
points mod, active users mod, avatar mod, hover colors mod, dave's moderator column mod, private messages mod, birthdyas mod, events calendar mod, message icons mod, mike's file attachment mod, smile manager mod, dictionary mod, gradients mod, forum rules mod, custom policy mod, faq administration mod, games mod, ip gate, POLL MOD, detailed stats mod, recent topics mod, links manager mod, siimple paging mod, and conquer chat mod! I think those are all the downloadable ones I have installed.
For custom mods I have a couple of them:
configurable header type:
by editing your profile you can chose to display the flash header or a standard graphic header. Neat option. Also in the flash headers, it is coded that if you're on the home page, you get the flash with sound option, and if on any other page, you have the flash header without sound.
quiz system:
mods and admins can input quiz questions. Quiz can be active or inactive, inactives ones are not displayed to the general member, only to staff, and are editable to add questions and answers. We can keep stats of who took the quiz, how many right, percentage right and the amount of time it took them to take the quiz. Works with the points mod, sort of as we can input how many points the winner gets' The quiz is set to auto close after x amount of time, we input what day and time it should close. members are allowed to take the quiz only ones and are displayed the answers to it after it has closed so they do not tell other users the right answers 
Articles:
Neat articles section for users to submitt written articles on how to do something for the games we cater, tutorials etc. People can reply on the article and rate it. Report if something is wrong and also the maker of an article has to be approved before the article being displayed in public.
exchange mod:
this is a file sharing mod. Where users can upload "tracks", game file,s of the coaster game they have made tracks of. People can download and rate them. We carry various games and each game is identified by their own game icon. only selected file formats are allowed to be uploaded only we've set a limit on uploads to 2 per day per user as sometimes we get a user who uploads 10 in a row. Downloads can be limited, but we have not done so at this time.
vip list:
we have a list to ad usernames were we can add member names and with an include file on x page, only vip's can view the page while all other members get a merssage saying you cannot view this page, currently no page is using this, but it has been tested and works like a charm. Might come in handy when we bring in new features to perhaps inspire new donators
topic.asp received some changes, boxed up the user info displayed over at the left hand side, added online/offline status mod to it. tried editing the layout of it but everything went wrong so we kept it at how it is.
This update took a lot of time and effort. This has been a joint effort from a few members here and some from my staff. Credits go to redbrad0 for coding in the basic platform, credit to altisdesign for coding in the interchangeable flash/graphic display of the header, credit to all the mod creators here. credit to my team of graphic developers: hakan and anthon.jon. Credit to many people on my website who donated a good amount of money to cover the expensive costs of hosting and updates.
Anyway that is my site, my child. started out with two members, Master of Puppets (registered here) and me, my membes have supported me and they had the heartness to bail me out when I had no money to pay for hosting, they came through and sent in their donations wildly  Now I am doing ok I guess. Currently we're up to as of now, 5431 members in the short time of one year, we gained 4,000+ members last year as that is when the site exploded in registrations. We're averaging anywhere from 300-400 new members a month. Thanks to everyone here at snitz who have helped me out!!!!
