My first attempt at anything more complex than playing a game on a PC. I'd love to be able to add some more mods, but fear I'll make a great big mess of things
anyway, tell me what you think
All criticism/opinions good or bad are welcome
www.wyioc.com cheers

looks good... wouldnt usually say that for a forum with the original colour scheme but i cant see you getting away with any different ones with that logo... o and so long as u back up the files u edit - ull get away with adding mods ;) |

Thanks, I did play around with the colour scheme but like you say, its difficult unless I can make a logo in a different colour. Maybe I'll have to have a play with photoshop (another can of worms)
maybe i'll brave and attempt some more mods aswell.

I'm getting an error. Looks like you need to run the Active Users DB setup.
Edit, looks like you've fixed it. |

I think the logo is a bit big but the mods look to be going well! Have a look at my portal mod, it creates a homepage which you may find it useful for reviews etc. And welcome to Snitz from another West Yorkshire member |

Thanks guys , for the input. David, the portal mod looks good, but I'm struggling to install most mods for some reason (probably because I'm such a newb to this)
This is from your mod,
Run the dbs file dbs_portal.asp.
but theres similar in others & I'm not sure what to do with it, and in mod setup & alternate setup, theres only a box to paste text. |

in mod setup there should be an option to run it - if not copy & paste the stuff in the dbs file (except the title ;)) |

MadGrip, your site runs on 1asphost, they don't support FSO so you have to do the cut&paste as you describe - the normal setup option won't work. |

Is the file "imprezabanner.gif" your logo, or just a banner? If it's your logo, you might want to rename the file to something without the word "banner" in it, that way it'll show up for people using a banner blocker such as myself ;) |
