Still need to resolve the columns so that the length varies according to the page (any suggestions as to how to go about that would be greatly appreciated).
And I've yet to make the icons match the decor, although I have some ideas about that.
The little lady (MUM herself) was a carry over from the previous forum and adapted to the Greco/Roman design. (One prominent member created a workout series with a classic Greek set, so the idea was to honor him.)

Looks quite nice, but as you said, get the columns in the right spot and it would look great. Also need to change a couple of the icons to suit the look as the XP icon set puts it out as well.
But great job just the same..

Just little 'niggly' bits that I noticed...
The size of the words 'Site Statistics' don't match the words 'Board Statistics' etc It would look nice if the two folders/vases at the bottom of the page (to show new and old posts), were lined up, eg the top of the second folder lined up with the bottom of the top folder
Not being picky...I just notice little things like that, sorry
You should get your homepage to match the forum, and it would look awesome |

Thank you both. I'm not sure how to make the columns variable in length, but I'm a-workin' on it, and I appreciate the suggestions. I do know how to create icons, and I agree that will make a noticeable difference.
Mortioli, I just went with default font and placement of whichever mod I used and didn't even think of changing it, but I'm sure I can. Great idea! (Why didn't *I* think of that! )
And I like the idea of centering the vases with one another. (Again, just went with defaults as I'm quite the beginner.)
Big Huggles and Thanks, Shermy

Oh, and I'm learning Flash and hope to do something interesting with the home page this summer. (But there's no excuse for it not matching.)

Yeah, if I can figure out how to make the columns adjust dynamically to the size of the page (like a background), that should be taken care of.
But, alas, I've yet to figure it out.
Thank you all, Sherm

If you change your table layout abit you can fix the column problem, I do believe. |

Thank you, spoof, but I'm not sure I understand. Will you elaborate a bit?
