Is it possible to allow users to bump their topics? If so how. Thanks!

If someone edits his topic/post, the Last Post date is updated, so the topic gets "bumped".
(Does not work with admins)

Can one the prevent a particular user from bumping? For example if they're bumping their topic every day like some sort of contest to keep it at the top?

In older versions of the forum bumping doesn't seem to work!

how old? a user can just reply to their own topic to bump it.

You could just lock the topic and warn your user not to bump topics. If they do it again, lock their account.

We created a special posticon just for that reason. It makes bumping topics more fun.
