the url for the "normal MOD setup" should be admin_mod_dbsetup.asp

check admin_home.asp. Near the bottom of the file should be the line

" <LI><span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_mod_dbsetup.asp"">MOD Setup</a></span><font size=""" & strFooterFontSize & """> (<span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_mod_dbsetup2.asp"">Alternative MOD Setup</a></span>)</font></LI>" & vbNewLine & _

check the line carefully

" <LI><span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_mod_dbsetup.asp"">MOD Setup</a></span><font size=""" & strFooterFontSize & """> (<span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_mod_dbsetup2.asp"">Alternative MOD Setup</a></span>)</font></LI>" & vbNewLine & _

both hyperlinks are on the same line, so the <a> and </a> tags must be in the correct place.

If you don't have the File System Object installed on your server (required for reading dbs files) you will be redirected to admin_mod_dbsetup2.asp. To setup the mod simply copy and paste the text from the dbs file included with the mod into the textarea on that page.

Search is your friend

MOD Setup tests if the FSO (FileSystemObject) can be used (required for MOD Setup).
If it's not available, it redirects to Alternative MOD Setup.

You could talk to your host about FSO and if it's available for you.
If not, copy the content of a dbs_modname.asp file and paste it into the form on Alternative MOD Setup.

Yes, copy and paste the code and click "Submit".
You can then continue to follow the installation instructions.
