is there anyway to move my current database from my current forum to another one ?? so I don't lose the posts and the registered users ??

I use MySQL and from phpmyadmin I make a dumpfile which I import into the new database.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with access it's just a file you can move wherever you want?

Yes, just download your database using FTP and upload it again to the new host with all files of course (run setup.asp) and you´re ready !

I don't wanna copy the whole forum.... I made anther new forum with many other mods... and i just wanna copy the members and the posts to it.... what should I download ? and I don't have ftp access

yes that's the one... but I need big help to make it work... I unzip the forum and changed config.asp the directory of stniz_forums_2000.db and upload it as it is.... didn't change anything else but it didn't work.. donno why... when I open default.asp it give me (HTTP 500 error....) could u help me in this ?

Go to shnforum.com and search for upgrading to his forum, there are many topics and posts about this, and you get much better support there than here. You also need to disable "friendly http errors" in your browser, so you can see the real error message.
