I tried and uploaded the file with another name and still the same error so the cache part we can forget... It can't be the database? (MySQL) or some outdated version of ASP on the server or something?
I'll try and find someone else with the same host that can try the file.
I can zip up the files for you, but which files do you need?

Not sure, I've tested the initial v1.3 release with MySQL without any problem. But I'm currently unable to test with MySQL.

Good idea. I'll additionally send you file that might help finding the issue.

As I said all .asp and .js files. Although I just need to run setup, logon as admin, run the dbs script and test admin_rules.asp, we should make sure that no important (maybe included) files are missing.
That's all I can offer for now...

Well, the database is MySQL on my testsite too.. *doh* so that's not the problem =)
All forum files will be a heavy load to send via my modem, I'll try to download everything to my servern and maybe send them from there or something, but I think I'll wait and see if I can get hold of someone that's using b-one as host first.

ahum... tried your faq-update too... Got the same error on the same "case" with that admin_faq.asp-file. Must be something in that part of the code that my host don't like.

There must be something with the way the server uses the files, or the fact that the live server is unix and my testserver MS.
I run IIS 5 and my host run:
SERVER_SOFTWARE: Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux) Chili!Soft-ASP/3.6.2 FrontPage/4.0.4.3 mod_auth_pgsql/0.9.12
ASP_VERSION: CHILI!ASP/DISPINT10 (3.6.2.1047; Mar 4 2002)
Does this help anyone come up with any new hints?

Thanks for the info, tribaliztic.
Too bad I can't test on Apache/ChiliSoft ASP, but I'll see if I can find any info what might cause the error.
Will get back to you as soon as I know something.

I did a search for the error msg, and all I could find was that there was an "end if" missing, but I suppose that's not the case here =)

OWM: what version of ASP is it on the server you are running this?
My host blame this on bad coding hehe.. The Chili!Asp isn't very forgiving they say. But I have had some of my "friends" check out the code and noone can find anything that would cause any problem.

Works fine on my PWS on Win 98, my site which is hosted at Windows 2000 AFAIK, and on several free hosts, all using windows servers.

Bad coding, eh?
If they could tell me which part is bad for the "not very forgiving" Chili!ASP, I'd be able to fix it.
Let's hope we can fins anything that helps.

OWM: if you go to the admin options and then "server information", what version of ASP is it you have on those sites?
Seems like this is a known problem though... http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=50813

Okay, the problems with Sun One/Chili shouldn't be here because it's not on versions below 4.0 according to ruirib. Then what? =)
I'll have to get ahold of someone with the same host or settings and try this out...

I didn't say that previous Chili!ASP versions have no problems. I said Snitz can run on them, but problems may indeed occur. I've experienced quite troublesome situations, with some configurations (specially when using Access DBs). Can't say that the current problem results from your site running on Chili, though.
