I have reported it to him, but its not his code as I have just downloaded and tried the mod on the latest base snitz code and its doing exactly the same, for example opening pop_mail.asp as if to send a member an email before replying to their topic post_info.asp will send you back to pop_mail.asp, like I said its sending you back to the url of last open browser window. |

Well that's just the way it works. The use of session variables has that inconvenient, but there aren't that many ways of doing it without session vars. You can remove the changes from inc_header_short.asp and that will mean you won't be returned to popups, but the other behavior will occur. As I said, it's just a consequence of the use of session variables. |

For those who are having problems when opening popup windows on the forum, we suggest you remove the referer mod code from the inc_header_short.asp file and leave the original code. It seems the referer mod is not really needed in that file.
Would love if users who are having the problem to report back to us if the suggested change breaks anything else.
Thanks. |
