Visit my snitz based website at : http://www.xBhp.com

SOme stuff that I have customised :

  • the header
  • the front page, my own portal page getting dynamic data from the forum database ( http://www.xbhp.com/index2.bike )
  • custom extension .bike
  • Ihave also made a small utility known as the Quick Browser which is basically a standalone flash application exe, the size of this exe is 932KB bacuase of the enourmous flash player 7, else the actual file is just 2 KB, you can download it here :http://sunmillennium.hypermart.net/xbhp/quickbrowser/browserBeta1.zip, it allows the user to view 5 latest replies in the forums withing the exe window, its in its early alpha stage and i have really cool things in mind which i will implement in the coming month...

My honest opinion on the main page: it's a mess. Everything is too close together, and there's no visible seperation between the columns/rows.

The forums look nice, except again, they miss visible seperations between rows. You've also forgotten to create icons for hot topics and locked topics.

In all it looks nice, but needs some more work IMO.

I'm forced to disagree with you on this one Roland. The lack of table border actually works quite well, with the background and foreground colours merging cleanly. Images are clear, good quality and well laid out on the main page so I'm surprised you said that it looks messy.

Having a fairly standard forum myself, I can see the amount of work that has been put in on this one. There is also some good work being done on a Flash player front end for interrogating the database, I'd like to know if other sites have developed anything like this.

Nice forum indianBoy, keep up the good work.

Yeah, the forum looks nice, and the icons fit very well, though the header is too big IMO.
Also, I'd change the background colors for forum cell and alternating forum cell to something else than the site's background color.
Apart from that, well done.
