I have a Athlon™XP computer running the Windows Server 2003 OS, however i'm giving the PC to my father and he only likes to use XP and XP pro.

But, i cant seem to go from Windows Server 2003 to XP pro. I put the CD in and the "install windows XP" link is dak and will not let me click it.

Anyone know a way to go from Windows server 2003 to XP?

Can't you just wipe the computer (reformat the hard drive) and then install?

Because it is a server OS, you cannot install a Pro OS through windows, you'll have to boot off CD first and format as Nikkol said.
