TV on your phone. Now I've seen everything.

I was perusing/window shopping for a new mobile phone at one of the largest electronics stores in Osaka yesterday when I walked into the asile display for a new TV capable JPhone (Vodaphone) handset.

Of course the thing also has the obligiatory digital camera, short burst of digital video, mobile internet/email, SMS, etc...yada yada yada. The only thing this was missing was an MP3 player and radio. Unbelieveable.

I think I'd rather have a radio and MP3 player, but then again there is only 3 commercial stations in Sydney

The thing only works with digital TV. Japan is now slowly rolling out digital TV boradcasts, so you can only get TV on your phone if you live in a large city.

Now if only the thing would get cable TV...

What is it just regular antenna for TV? I would think it might come over the phone waves so it would be more channels
