I love this utility. It has already helped me find lots of leeched images, however, I can not find or properly create log files. What the heck am I doing wrong? |

I use iistracer usually the logging only kicks in when theres a problem, from memory you set a threshold limit on how many concurrent processes there has to be before the log starts being written too.
What specific problem you having ? just no log appearing at all ? |

well I like viewing the active events and when you hover over the get/post url requests it shows additional information in an alt tag. it doesn't show for very long and there are times I find an image or two that is being used on another website but I can not copy the url, especially if it is a long one. it would be nice to have that info in a log or something so I can copy and paste into a web browser.
OR, I need a better program that shows where all the requests are originating from. I am finding a serious problem with image leeching and I don't want to use an anti-leech isapi filter because then it would prevent me from linking images to places like here.
suggestions? |

Try setting the logging threshold for iistracer to zero, though realistically it's not showing you anything your couldnt get out of your IIS logs anyway with a good analyser, you could even use the IIS Log Reader COM object to write your own that analyses all image downloads etc to look for potential linking offenders. |
