Formerly I had a Handspring Deluxe and I have to say I loved it. I got it when they first came out. I was a bit jealous when the newer ones came out and started offering color at a reasonable price, but I didn't bite, I help off until now (years later). It's kinda like when I had my first PC (my first computer was an Apple 2 GS - no hard drive!) that was a 286 with an entire MB of RAM and a 40MB (that's not GB) hard drive. The person who sold it to me said I'd never fill the 40MB HD so don't spend the extra money for the 80 MB drive. That was a good move on my part. The whole thing was obsolete when I bought it (too many years ago to mention).
Well, the new toy I have is a Pal T3, this thing is cool. Look here to see more about it - I'd tell you but I haven't figured it all out myself, I still can't Sync my mail. http://www.palmone.com/us/products/handhelds/tungsten-t3/
I still have my Handspring Deluxe that I bought in June of 2000. I've been thinking about replacing it with a Pocket PC OS PDA... maybe one of the Dell Axim's.
I am a proud user of a Palm Tungsten T (the first edition), however I am verrrrry sad to see that Palm has released the T2, T3 and TE so soon... I paid € 419 for the T|T back in july, and the T|T3 now ships for € 375 while the T|T is down to less then 280
I try not to get to upset about falling prices, it comes with the game of having the newest stuff.
I held out when CD players first came out. They were hovering around $800 - 1,000 for a long time, finally i got mine for about $400, mind you this was a single CD player.
