Does anyone know how to convert an MP3 file from id3 v1 to v2 or higher?
My brother recorded some of his jam sessions to MP3 format buit I want to be able to edit the tags and add a cover album picture for him. I need the file in v2 to do this.

| Winamp should do all of this, well except the cover album. Not sure of any ID tag that does that. |

iTunes will do it for you too, as long as the MP3 file has v2, id3 tags. v1 does not support the other edits.
