Does anyone know how to convert an MP3 file from id3 v1 to v2 or higher?
My brother recorded some of his jam sessions to MP3 format buit I want to be able to edit the tags and add a cover album picture for him. I need the file in v2 to do this.

Winamp should do all of this, well except the cover album. Not sure of any ID tag that does that.

iTunes will do it for you too, as long as the MP3 file has v2, id3 tags. v1 does not support the other edits.
