I just found out my web hosting service does not support anything I would need to use a Snitz Forum and I MUST have a Snitz Forum.
I see resources here to research Web Hosting companies, but I have no idea what kinds of things I need to consider to choose a web hosting company. I chose my hosting company orginally because it was local (I have no idea if this has anything to do with anything.)
I need to make a decision fast - I would appreciate any help in figuring out what three things (or whatever) are important - if it is just size and bandwidth and analyzing tools, fine, but if it has anything to do with technical considerations or local issues, it would be nice to know.

From what I've seen, Gremlin really bends over backwards to help his customers. And if I'm not mistaken, the servers he uses are located in the U.S.
HuwR, one of the admins here, has a hosting company, too. You should check them out here.
I'm with CrystalTech myself, and they're a great company, too.
I don't think you'll do better than these. Also, look for this post to be moved to a more appropriate forum.  |
