NT 4.0 has iis version 1.0... I need to update it to version 5 or so. is there a download to do that?

version 5 is for Windows 2000. you will need to upgrade your server software.

yes, the latest server OS from Microsoft is Windows Server 2003.

FYI, Microsoft will no longer support NT4.0 after December (I believe). This means that they will not be issuing service packs or fixes and such.

Get the Windows NT Option Pack and/or NT SP6a. The Option pack will install IIS 4.0 for you. IIS4 is a usable version of IIS/asp although it doesn't support a few things like server.execute and server.transfer

I believe MS has again extended support for NT4 but I'm not 100% sure.
