I've been getting email at the webmaster address for one of my websites from a company claiming that they'd like me to review the 8 different language translations they've done of my web site.
If the translation is OK, I'm supposed to paste an externally hosted javascript code into my web pages and pay $5.00 a month for the "service".
How stupid do they think I am? Is there any way to nuke their server with a DOS attack? I think it would be a favor to the internet community.

Ken, I'd say to just ignore these mails, and don't lower yourself to their level... Another tip: Try Mailwasher ; it get's rid of most of those mails.
BTW, It's not realy a scam ; however it may be considered as 'agressive' marketing, but that's all. Some sites may benefit from a translation of their site for only 5 $ a month. I know it could boost my site, as long as they can translate Dutch
I've been getting similar emails, including ones about .EU domains (ohh rush rush, everyone wants them :S yeah right), about renewals for my listings in search engines for which I never applied or anything... I add them to the spam list and never look at them.
