I'm getting some good traffic here:
Jeepaholics.com Registered Members: 4,968 Total Posts: 231,136 Total Topics: 21,337 Most Active Users: 72 (15 min. period) Typical Average Users On-Line: 25-35
Only issue I've every really had has been with the search page not timing out...other'n that, it's been rock solid for 3 years (in 9 days). Thanks guys! Someday I'll end up having to switch to a .NET platform because that's where all my development is going... Going to be tough to find a replacemmnt of equal quality, that's for sure.! |

this is a frustrating topic.... I am trying to get my community going for more than 10 months now, and it still doesn't happen (28 members), and then you are confronted with these mega-fora... I am going to crawl up in a corner and cry all night.... |

although I don't consider my forum large, I am happy to say that after 2+ years we're 131,793 posts strong with 1,753 members... sadly though only about 5% of the members are active posters. |

My community has been up from December 2002 now, and only got 140 members, and only about 20% of them post, and about 50% of them have posted atleast once. It never goes up, people join and then never even bother looking back. Oh well, I am not annoyed of it. I feel happy for my fellow-SnitZers.

My largest Snitz forum has almost 800 members with well over 50000 posts, so I´m quite satisfied. |

My forum's had 14,200 members though since I delete those who haven't posted in over a year, that number actually stands at 6,456. 57,471 active posts (I archive topics untouched for three months) and 122,246 archived posts. I have to delete my archives over a year old for database size restriction reasons. |

Not for a couple of years now! But my current plan only allows me 100MB of space on the SQL server. It's regularly hitting 200MB... don't want to push them too far. |

if your database is hitting 200 MB I would seriously consdier changing the transaction logs to simple mode. Looking at your numbers, it should not be nearly that large. |

An awesome and very interesting link! Thanks for sharing that.
Check out.... GameSpy - 11,561,913 posts. Bioware - 1,377,553 members.
Both are great sites. One reason to explain Bioware's numbers is that to register Neverwinter Nights, you registered on their site. This isn't meant to take anything away from their achievement - but it sure helps. Neverwinter Nights is a popular game with a lot of mods. When the game was released it was fun to watch their stats skyrocket. And yes, I own NWN and spent many, many hours playing it. |

Here are the stats for our Snitz forum on Snowboard.com,
42190 Members have made 155061 posts in 39 forums There are currently 15255 topics
Not bad, but certainly not the biggest. Now if I can just find the time to make it CSS compatible, and to get the search working correctly... |
