hello!

i'm an advanced member of a german asp forum and today I've had a great idea - or I think at least, it's a good one

I would add another input-field for the "new topic" form, in which the user can write some keywords, which are representing the topic of his/her question/topic.

for example, a user of an asp forum asks something about a select-menu - he can write "select, combo, listbox, dropdown, etc.

the idea behind - if another user has the same problem, or something like that - he is going to find more and more related topics for his query.

well, i think, it would be a possible way to find topics much more easier. but of course, only then, wenn the users fill in the keywords-input-field.

Maybe an administrator or moderator could add the keywords if the topic requires them.

Better as a MOD ? Not much use if it's not a support forum.

Adding the keywords to the (bottom of the) topic message would do the same trick.
You could use the

tag to hide them.
