I've downloaded the Site Intergration Mod for my site. I've followed the readme file fastidiously and it all seemed to easy too be true until I got to the section saying
quote:
In Admin options, select 'MOD Setup'. Select 'Site Integration Mod for 3.4.xx' from the drop down box and click 'Update'.
I can get into Admin Options OK but there are no options for me in the dropdown box???
I decided to ignore this bit and carry on with the installation until I got to the section entitled "Configuring Site Integration" and the bit saying:
quote:
"From the Snitz forums 'Admin Options' page, select Site Integration Configuration."

Am I doing something wrong here because there is no such option when I go into admin options in my forum. I haven't used any other mods and am using snitz version 3.4.3. Please help!

did you copy the .dbs file from the MOD zip file into your forums directory?

Yes, that's it.
(The DBS files used to be named something.dbs in earlies versions, but now the format is dbs_something.asp)

OWM - hello again!

Do I need to rename the "dbs_Integration.asp" file or not? I have definitely posted it into the forums directory.

No, do not rename it.
Try opening it in a text editor, copy the whole content, go to "Alternative MOD Setup" in Admin Options, paste the code into the forum and click "Submit".

I've done this and there's no change - still don't have any options from the dropdown box in mod setup. Perhaps I need to remove the dbs integration .asp file from the server now I have pasted this text into the Alternative MOD Setup??

Pasing the code into the form won't change the options in the dropdown box.
The dbs_integration.asp file contains information for a script to update the database (create/edit/delete tables, insert values, etc).
You can perform the database manipulation by either choosing is from the dropdown box or pasting it into the form and hitting update.

What message did you get after you've clicked "Submit"?
The tables should have been created if you didn't get an error.

Have you tried to go to the MOD's admin page? See if you get any errors, and if yes, post them.

When I clicked submit there was a msg which (basically I think) said it was all updated OK. Didn't get error msgs.

Have been back to the MODs admin page and there are no errors but I still dont't have the option to:
quote:
"From the Snitz forums 'Admin Options' page, select Site Integration Configuration."

This option just isn't there?!?
