Have it all setup...in the admin, run the roubleshooter and it says there is permissions errors...well, we double checked them and they are fine. Then we did the test file upload...and get this error:

exact path to file: /skolvikes/albums
Write to file failed.No Errors detected, If you are still haveing problems please send me an email to Wesley Brown
File has been saved in file system.

Anybody seen this before and know what the issue is?

I have run into a similar problem, It seems the username is messing things up I have a user XXX_Xx.X with his name in that format. Thhe albun will not let him upload anything. When I try to edit his album it returns his name as XXX_Xx's photo album dropping the period & last character in his name....If I change his name & set it to XXX_XxX without the period & space it seems to work fine.
Any fixes for this?
