Opzolder.net is closed as per 1-1-2004.
Okay, I think I am now so far with my site that I am ready to have it judged by 'the judges'.
It's a Snitz/CrashCode 3.4 site, with loads of my own mods in it, which were created with help from people here and at http://www.crashsite.nl.
It's in Dutch (sorry folks), and I haven't used the international version (stupid...I know)...I will try to up it to the international version soon (by gato).
I've modded the portal, created a specific newsfeed mod (using the forum called 't Prikbord) modded the sidebar, and modded the metastats.
  I am getting about a 1000 referrals monthtly from Google.nl and Google.be
The smilies are from http://www.tweakers.net and http://www.fok.nl
  The icons come from http://www.buildyourown.org.uk
So -> here goes nothing ... the URL is http://portal.opzolder.net ---- Update 15/9/2003: Added weblogs With no db modification at all! Each registered member can post topics to a specific forum, which is then accessible as a weblog instead of a forum/topic. Examples: Webloglisting : http://www.opzolder.net/portal/weblogs.asp A member's weblog : http://www.opzolder.net/portal/logfeed.asp?member=18
Changed the newsfeed functionality: On the newslist all 'prikbordposts' are shown. You can filter the frontpage for posts of a specific member. Also added news.asp, which shows a specific newspost. Example: http://www.opzolder.net/portal/news.asp?news_id=330 Added shortnews.asp, which shows the newslinks or a specific newslink-item. Example: http://www.opzolder.net/portal/shortnews.asp?link_id=305
These are all still early releases, they need some extra modifications. (Show replies/reactions for weblog/news/shortnews, count number of entries per member on weblogs, variable weblog title per member, layout improvement, paging for the weblogs.asp page, paging for the replies in shortnews.asp, the member-weblog-page and news.asp, enable messageicons for news.asp and shortnews.asp) Also found some bugs and leaks, which will be fixed soon. Let me know what you think. |

I like it... I like the fact that you have an "overline" when you hover over the link and then that changes to an underline when you click it. Its not something that I've seen before on a Snitz forum but I think it looks good . |

thanks for the feedback .. I already had the hovercolor remark noted, but forgot to change it over and over...it's changed now to #F0F8FF...a bit more in line.
D3mon ; I am sorry to say it, but I am going to replace the icons. :`( they are to big now I'm using the sidebar, at least the ones used in the topic.asp and forum.asp ; if you've got smaller versions I'd be a happy man! |

                      | Looks very nicely done, nice to see someone take the crash portal and expand/modify on it enough to make it look more unique. |

                      | Good looking forum, kinda blog type style... in the forums there seemed to be a lot of statistics displayed, it isn't really a major thing, they just take a lot of space up but don't affect load speed or anything, maybe just make them a bit smaller and when you click the stat page have all the details displayed |

                      | Very unique looking forum - I like it a lot. I would remove the added stats on the mainpage, too crowded looking...otherwise great job. |

WOW The colours look very nice. I like the colour you've used for "Hover MOD", very different and hmm... "cool" emoticons. What else? Oh by the way, I do not understand a word.
But over-all look is very impressive. I like the colour scheme. |
