Can I have polls displayed inside my forum (featured poll) and on my main website ?
I downloaded the Site Poll Script 1.0 but now need to know if I can have a featured Poll on my website and on my forum - same poll in two different places and / or can I have different polls - in other words a featured poll on my website and one on my forum ?
Please advise. |

| That's what the Site Poll Script is for. To have your featured poll on your forum to be displayed on your website (outside your forum). You just need to configure the script. |

ERR...
Outside Poll not showing up ... It says is can't establish a connection with my DB ?
Structure.
www.mysite.com/forum
the /forum is a virtual directory on another server (not on my live site's server location [ip's different as well]) - could this have an impact on the poll ?
If so where do i send this code to :

<!--#include virtual="forum/inc_func_common.asp"-->
<!--#include virtual="forum/inc_func_secure.asp"-->
can I change it to <!--#include virtual="xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/forum/config.asp"-->
This is the error I receive
HTTP Error 404
404 Not Found
http://mydomain/setup.asp?RC=1&CC=1&strDBType=access&EC=-2147467259&ED=%5BMicrosoft%5D%5BODBC+Microsoft+Access+Driver%5D+Could+not+find+file+%27%28unknown%29%27%2E

I don't think you can include a file from another server. The file would have to be on your own server, where the calling file (the file that has the include command) is located.
So if you have your forum on another server, different from the server your website is on, I don't think the site poll mod is gonna work for you. |

You don't need to set anything for that. That's how the forum is setup by default. A user cannot post without registering first. But they can view the forum. |
