I decided to bite the bullet and install a brand new forum and .mdb i chose the serverhacker v.8 and when i access my forum now i geta half arsed screen, but thats to be expected as i have done no setup etc. except THERE IS NO LOGIN SECTION ???? so i cheat and go direct to admin_home.asp and there are the login boxes, i use admin and admin as you'd expect on a 'new' forum and it says 'loggin processing' the excitement mounts and then 'poof' i'm back to the admin_home.asp page where you enter your login details....

i get stuck in a loop and never actually 'login' I created a personal login, but obviously this has no admin rights

Can someone please advise, i've tried posting on serverhackers forum but got no response.

thank you.

here because i need help.

Not familiar with the SH portal, but with the regular Snitz Forums you have to go to setup.asp where you can create the admin account and set up the database tables.

Search is your friend

yes i did, its had 6 views and no replies, but to be fair the time difference my have an effect in this, it is after all ony 6:00am in the morning there (where ever they are) and its 1:57 here (UK) so i'm holding tight until they wake up :P

you'd think with that many moderators they'd have most timezones pretty well covered eh ?

Server Hacker responded and he is correct, it is working fine I logged in as well.

use lower case for the admin account and password note you will receive a second login use the same account and password, this is for security so they say.
