It might look better with the Register, and Login buttons being the same color and texture. (IMO)

A few suggestions...

The login/register buttons look a little out of place because they don't really go with the background that they are on. And the Java menu is off the bar that it should be on.

The background for the site is grey and those enormous login/logout buttons are bright orange. They look way out of place.

I'll echo a lot of prior sentiments, The header takes up half the page. That is just too much. As I look further down, all the header images are the wrong color.

Also in the forum, the header backgrounds don't look good being the same bg as the rest of the site. It makes the text there hard to read.

All my own opinions, and opinions shared by a number of other members.

Maybe it's because I really dislike the "serverhacker style" because it is so cluttered and hard on the eyes. But I think you really need to keep an open mind about suggestions people make because you seem to dismiss them immediately.

I like this color scheme better than the one that was all orange much easier to read.

I think the Gold is fine in the header as it stands out nice and evenly from the grey text. The only thing I would say is that you are using that graphic for Labeling and for linking. Which is a little confusing to the user. Generally there is a distinction between a button and a title graphic so the user knows that they can click on the button. here you hav ethem looking the same so the user can tell if it is a title graphic or a button.

I would also agree with the others the header is way to big.

It is clutterd but some folks like it that way. My style is to keep things simple and to click on where they need to go.

I like all the little icons on your help page they are cute. But the text labeling each section like Registering is hard to read on the graphical background to me because it blends in with it. I would keep with your theme where you had a shade of grey overlaying that background so the text could be read.

Technical Errors noticed

1) When I open up the site the Spotlight graphic is busted. The one with the Me underneath.
2) When I click on a member name to see the profile it takes me to a screen and you can't read the text. Basically, I am a guessed (have not registered) and I know that when someone is a guest (not logged in) they are not allowed to view the member area. So, typically when someone views that page without being logged in they get an screen saying this.

"There Was A Problem!

You must be logged in to view a Member's Profile"

which your screen does you just can't read it cause the text color is the same as the background.

3) On the register page (where it asks for your info) it shows a graphic again called "Me" and it is busted.

This is what I seen in a brief 30 minutes looking over you site.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend,

Many blessings,

Sacred
