Scratch the message that was here: I had created the attachments folder in the forum folder, but it has to be in the site root. It works like a dream!
In short Michael: You are a genius! Many, many thanks for your efforts in achieving this, I am in your debt. And thanks also for your patience with my obvious lack of knowledge in all matters ASP. Cheers.
Big thanks also to Ben for the original mod.

Michael Although this mod clearly works, I get the following error now and again when trying to post a picture:
The field 'FORUM_ATTACHMENTS.REPLY_ID' cannot contain a Null value because the Required property for this field is set to True. Enter a value in this field.
Also, the upload 'times out' for some when trying to upload. Any thoughts?

Hi Michael After a little checking I find that I get the error message described above when I try to upload an image in a 'New Topic' If I upload to an existing topic, no problem.
I think the 'time out' was a file size issue for the member concerned.

Michael I just had a similar problem posting an image in a new topic. If you would, take a look at this thread http://coarsefish.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=446
If you try and edit the topic and post an image, you will get the error as described above. He posted the attachment without any problem when he replied to the new topic.
Same User and password as before for Admin access.
Much appreciated. |

Michael Thanks for getting back to me (no apologies required I assure you)
I tried a new topic, with attachment, after uploading the file, and I got the following error:
There has been a problem!
Number of query values and destination fields are not the same.
This is the url of the post if you need it http://coarsefish.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=468
