it seems most of the features are missing when you get the free version though... Other than that I think most options are either available as MODs or can easily be implemented (such as the subject for each reply).
if only Snitz have added some of the mods here to their version (already built-in) Snitz would definatly be a winning forum, it looks too simple for the average first time user.

Absolutely, puzo. I love Snitz and think it's a great product. I know the developers spend a lot of time on this project and I'd hate to ask anything more of them. I'm very grateful for their commitment to this community and to the production of the forum.
Over the last 2+ years I've been a part of this community and using the forum, I've seen a few features added to the forum which previously were mods. I.e. printer friendly, category/forum sorting. Although those are relatively small mods, I'm hopeful that some of the more significant mods will be included in future revisions of the forum... mods that most people use and are standard on other forum scripts.
I don't mind saying that it made my day to see the Moderators of Snitz talking about my little ol' community software and calling me "Competition". I consider Snitz to be a very solid product and am humbled and rather envious of the tight-knit community that has formed here.
