Hi there, I just set up a site for some of us who work in the government, who have basically got together over the local intranet to have a forum outside of work, naturally, I went for the superb Snitz forum software, what I am after is a chat room, something I can run alongside the forum, and possible use the Forum Data Base to log in users.
Does ANYONE have a link that will take me to a site where I can download the software or script for free?? |

Sorry, it isn't finished, and it ain't pretty, and most of it is locked away as well....
Plus I didn't want you lot ripping holes in it too, me gets rather shy, unless you can offer positive feedback on things to change |

| Kat, this topic can stay here even if no link to DA cookie monstA's forums are posted. This was decided after he'd posted his question twice and this one had gotten answers, the other was deleted or locked (can't remember). Feel free to move this to a more appropriate forum if you wish though (I decided not to because I wasn't sure which forum to move it to). |

At the request of some of the other members of the site, they did ask me NOT to publicise the forum, although you CAN go to my REALLY naff site which is at www.ministryofinsanity.co.uk
That was thrown up there to get things going and is going to be replaced |

Yes. I got both the Snittzy-chat & Flashchat working. Elected to stay with Flash, but I can help you. |

I use sigmachat - you need to sign up for a professional account ($100 per year), and I have a script that authenticates with my database - it works great. Chatroom is quick, everyone loves it and it handles 60+ users when we have contests in there with no problem.
