It was snowing here for a couple days over the last couple weeks. It would never stay on the ground though. Lately temps are back up. Whoo hoo! 15 degrees celcius today.

y'all are welcome to some of the snow we've been getting this year. We've had the most snow in this area since 97 (when we had TWO three foot snowfalls...don't want that again). I don't think I've had a week yet where I haven't had to shovel at least once.
I've also noticed I enjoy snow much less now that I still have to go to work. Loved it as a kid 'cause I got off. Now I have to get up earlier, and deal with people who get stupid in the snow
Last week it snowed here every day for four days. Unheard of normally in the Midlands. It didn't last too long though.
Yeah -and it brought big trouble to the airway trafics all over Europe. You hade to shout down Stanstead. No flights arriwed to to Stockholm-Skavsta Airport for a couple of days. We where a little bit surpriced they couldn't handle some snow problems .
I cant remember when we hade to shout down Arlanda (ARN) because of snow.
living in California now I don't get to see the snow very often. I remember the Blizzard of 78 in New York as a child (dating myself now!!). anyway, this snow storm is being compared to that one. my parents just sent me a photo of the latest snow storm they had...
OK, someone can DEFINITELY come get some snow now.....we've got 8+ inches and they're calling for anywhere from 1-2 FEET!!! We're getting 1-2 inches an HOUR....
You guys are mostly weird! This is the absolute BEST winter in years here in the NY/NJ area! Anybody who doesn't LOVE snow is welcome to dump it on my doorstep anytime. It's especially appreciated around mid-July and August.

It was nice when snow meant a day off and I could go play outside. Now it just means I lose sleep because I have to get up earlier to go out and shovel and allow more time to travel to work.
And considering I've now shoveled my driveway and sidewalk THREE times, and it's not supposed to stop snowing until sometime tomorrow morning, I think I have the right not to like snow right now.
FYI, the snow I just measured off my table on the deck measured in at 14 1/2 inches. The snow imprint off my leg trying to GET to the snow on the table measured in at 19 1/2 inches. Blowing snow is just lovely
