I am goin to installed Xp Pro, this comes with IIS right? Will i need to download anything for it to work?

Yes IIS should be on the XP disk, it wont be installed by default so you will need to install it yourself at a later date from the Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs >> Add/Remove Windows Components.

You will not have to download anything for IIS to work, there are a ton of security fixes and a service pack to download though

It sure is loaded by default when you put IIS on to XP Pro.

I have IIS on XP Pro running here for a site I put together, and thought that it would be easier than trying to put it on the server and stopping users from getting to it.

and you should be able to select it..

I cant seem to get this to work

I'v installed it and then gone to my ip (http://xxx.xxx.xx.xx) and it just says "cannot find sever"

Windows Xp Pro did not install right, i had to reinstall it as a install and not a upgrade, it's workin now
