Lol, that's a great one, known the net over as the 'perfect flame' in its full rendition

I hadn't ever seen that Flame v6.04 published in its entirerty before, looks like my flame is sad in comparison really :( If anything I've got nothin in mine that isnt in his, it's almost word perfect. Here I was thinking I was smart taking various bits and pieces from all over the place and saving them for a future "composition", and all along it was all coming from the same original flame lol !!. |

I asked about the preferred use of the <acronym> tag, and whether it should be used in links and titles as well as the body of HTML documents. A couple of guys jumped right on me about my post before I got a helful post from nice guy called Steve. Then they started to argue with him!

Google groups are usenet.
Newsgroups don't have a "bad rep", but there are some groups that do have a lot of obnoxious posters. However, wade through the junk and there is a great wealth of information out there in newsgroups. It's just that some people only can feel good about themselves if they can knock someone else, which is pretty sad comment about the flamer. You should be somewhat amused because "flamers" rhymes with "lamers"

Lol, I think theres some Blackadder in there as well? Dunno.
The second link is worth exploring as well, it deals with Bernard Shiffman, Chicago Computer Consultant, another great piece of internet history.
If you do decide to explore further with the second link, and read about the story be forewarned, there is a lot of abusive language in the text and audio files you will find there. |

Good reading, there, LOL.
Reminds of me of the time I tried posting advice in a forum outside of my own. Got called names that Snitz will filter out when I spoke frankly about what the posters should do. I think I even posted here after that. |

Well, you learn something new every day, or at least every day you visit Snitz.
I hadn't known about this tag before reading your post. I just added it to one of my main pages. Works great! |
