Which version of Internet Explorer should I get?
I currently use 5. Is it ok to get the latest and greatest?
Thanks for the help,
Etymon

Latest IE has been out for a while now, the security patches seemed to have slowed down anyway :) |

Consider Mozilla too. I like it equally to IE 6 with the exception that it lacks a Google Bar [DOH!] |

You're not wrong. I love the fact that you can search directly from the web page that you are on without having to go into Google. Plus of course, the Page Rank feature... very useful for us SEO's! |

Mozilla is just so much better in this writers opinion, mouse gestures (move the mouse to navigate a site), right click to view / search URLS, custom skins, email and IRC client, i could go on.
Give mozilla a try if you haven't already at: http://www.mozilla.org. |

I'm using the latest version of IE with NetCaptor. The best of both worlds and then some (especially being able to move the tabs is a great feature of NC, and not having it is a major flaw in Netscape 7 and Mozilla IMO). The google bar is nice, but I don't miss it one bit. Typing g <search terms> in the address bar works just as good, and that whole page rank thing isn't important. |

It is if you want to better your ranking in Google, which we all do, right? Plus, the higher your page rank, the further up the list of sites you are in the Google/ODP directory... probably second in importance to the Yahoo! directory. |
