I know there's several avatar mods available, but I'm wondering if any knows of a mod which allows people to choose an avatar (within certain dimensions preferablly, but if not, thats ok) and have it located on their own server to be used on the forum as their avatar. Similar to the My Picture feature included in the profiles.
I'd rather not limit my users to have only avatars which I've pre-uploaded.
Its hard to find mods because most of the links are broken.
If any of you know of a mod like this then it would be greatly apreciated.
My forum is running Snitz Forums 2000 Version 3.4.03 and it currently has no mods.

There are a couple of potential problems that you could face with a avatars that are not controlled by yourself Matrices, and are on other servers.
Firstly, broken links
and secondly more worrying is the image it self. Effectively anyone could show anything in your forum - just a thought

Well, I have thought about the broken links, but I didnt want to be asking too much if there wasn't already a mod out there for it. I'd still have to moderate things people would be uploading on my server, too. And I'd think it would be too much trouble for me to go along and individually upload icons for people who felt they needed custom ones, because I know just about every user would probably want one.
The same problems go for the My Picture feature for the profile, they can show whatever they like, but its not that important, I am willing to risk it because that kind of thing isn't a concerning factor yet.
If there's no mod out there for what I'd like, I am willing to check out others, I'm not that picky. I just wanted to see if there was something already available, which operated somewhat similarly to what I wanted.
Also, it'd be apreciated if you could direct me to a website or some links, Since I don't know who Richard is, and there's a lot of broken links that I've come across trying to search for mods on the forums and the net.
