Maybe consider a skip button for those who don't use flash to get into the site? |

Nope, it's standard snitz with a few mods I added |

DavidRhodes, Yours is one of many sites I like so much when I see it. It is neat, no clutter and most importantly very well organized.
You must have covered every line of Snitz code to produce such an outstanding site.
I wish I could do that too. |

Thanks for the comments Put a link in to skip flash, added the spell checker too recently to work with Sql Server, works a treat, added calendar mod too!
Finally got the minor bugs sorted and all is going smoothly now!
Gremlin, I came across ServerHackers site after I started this, similar concept with the homepage (3 columns) etc.. but i'd already coded all this up anyway, gonna add more stuff to the homepage in the same way, ie Recent Topics, Calendar etc...
Try out the bookmark mod, when logged in, click the bookmark icon in the bottom right, type a name, then select My Settings > My Bookmarks to view, it's not fully Snitz compatible at the moment cos it uses VB Classes and Stored Procs but I may do that soon if I have some time. |

DavidRhodes, can you help me contructing the page like your uk_home.asp page? for a start which snitz mod base you're using for that?
I've seen Huwr's, S'Hacker and crashsite but I don't need all those feature for my site. |

LanKuchang, all the content management stuff I did from scratch, basically you can add categories, add content then assign content to one or more categories, all the code uses stored procedures so it will only work on SQL Server. You best bet would probably be to implement one of the homepage mods from the above mentioned sites and remove what you don't need. |

LanKuchang, If you are using SQL Server, I will happily send the code over to you, requires SQL 2000 though due to some of the t-sql statement used. You'd need ASP 3 also cos it uses VB Classes for data access rather than the normal snitz way |

David,
What mod did you use to get the Windows XP look (beveled)? I think you've got a great site!
Thanks! |
