I have my forum all installed and setupbut when i log in it just says admin login completed and then takes me to the admin login again. Its nothing with my cookies i dont tihnk becuase it will say 'Logged in as Jas' and i can do all the ad boards stuff but i can't access any admin options like email config or any of that. It just keep bringing me to the Admin login.
Weird. That login is done using session variables, I wonder whether there is something wrong with sessions in your server. Have you tried closing all your browser windows and then try again?
Yes i have i have restard the internet and every thing. It takes me to the enter name and password every when i'm already logged in then it says login succesfull and then i wait the browser loads and right back to the Name and Password. I can't even view the Admin controls anymore.
I'm sorry i have been looking through the code for Members.asp and i can't find wher ei can edit a members profile. The members names or anything dont ever appear in the code.
I had no problems logging in as admin. Anyway I found you had not changed the forum URL in Admin Options -> Main Forum configuration and I have changed it. Try now and let me know.
Still i cannot go to the admin control panel with either ID the test nor my normal one. I have now tried it on two different computers to no avail. When you tried did you get to the admin options page cuz i can login fine just not go to the control panel. Are thier any Files i whould re upload.
see if you can get to the Admin Options on there. If not, it's got to be some setting in your browser that isn't allowing per session cookies to be set.
If you were missing any files, you would get an error indicating that. Unless the server you are on is somehow configured differently, I can't think of any reason why it would work on mine and not yours. You haven't modified any files have you?
