                      | I cant get my head around this one I was on the net looking for a new menu for my site
and just as i found one my homeXP computer restarted itself so i let it start up again but when it got to the blue login screen it restarted itself again. I turned it of and come onto my "backup computer" (this one) and then a while later i went to turn the computer on and every time it starts to load the blue login screen it restarts

                      | There is no error message, it just starts to load the login screen but before any info can be shown (logins and password box's) it starts to load the whole computer again. I would try and load it in safe mode but i cant seem to do that, it loads all that to fast to get there
  I hope it's not dead, it's a £2000 computer

                      | Disk Boot Failure....that's one of my favorites. Right up there with Operating System not found.

                      | Before giving up on it, try disconnecting and reconnecting both ends of the HD ribbon cable (motherboard and drive) along with the power cables. Could just be a bad connection, dust, etc. Also, it might be a set-up/bios problem. The disk parameters might have got reset, etc. |
