That's not the worse part. If you use a headphone type device, the kind that "plugs" into your ear, like for cell phones, it can actualy record your thoughts the same it would record and store voice calls. Imagine the ramifications!!!

Did I mention the the way some phones can read the nano-imprints made on your fingers from typing? Using a quantum_algorithm, they can then put together the order the tiles were pressed in and duplicate anything you typed. I think there is a limit to how many characters they can track, like a mere 50,000 or so. Because og rhis I habe remived thw letterd on my keyboard. Its hard to type if I don't look at the screen (w/o making mistakes) |

what it *could* be realted to is this -
when you 'sign up' for any sms service (eg 'tamagotchi on my phone'), you get charged per sms by your mobile company on behalf of a 3rd party. Some unscrupulous companies send these premium rate sms messages to you without your request, clocking up money (25p/40c+) a time, and some mobile operators have been guilty of letting them get away with it. They can munch a whole 'pay as you go' voucher before you even get to make a call!
I'm with Orange, and I've never had any personal trouble with this, but I saw a kids consumer show on beeb1 highlighting the issue (so it must be true, yeh?)
maybe this is the (small) fire behind the smoke? |

And of course the scam is linked in with people who have not called you yet, as the new software they have has pre-empted what you was going to type and say in to the phone. Codswallop...

Isn't there a few Viruses spread over the phone? I think that worm.FLU.005 or something like that is spread when a person infected with this virus uses your phone, it infects it and from then on anyone that uses it catches that virus. Norton has a file named sponge.exe to remove the virus from your phone. |
