Since there are very few free ASP portal scripts, I have been testing some PHP scripts. Besides PHPnuke and Postnuke, I really like a portal called "Land Down Under" - I have a testportal here: http://wii.1go.dk/ - I wonder why there arenīt ASP portals around that have the same functionality like these PHP portals? |

It happens sometimes with my browser too - I recommend that you re-start your PC and try again. The source can be viewed !!! |

If I can't 'View Source' it usually means that I need to clear out my temporary files. Not sure why this is connected but it tends to work fine after that. |

That could be--I remember that if you have the problem of trying to save an image from a web page, and it defaults to only .bmp, even if the image is a .gif or .jpg, then you have to clear out temporary files. |

I thought the saving an image as a .bmp thing was a XP problem?
I seem to remember getting something from windows update site to fix it as well.. |

I get that problem(view source) and the saving of images. A workaround for saving the image is to choose to email the image and then double click the image before emailing, save it to your your hard drive then close the email without sending it. It costs a step but it's faster than going to my cache.
The view source was bugging me for weeks but just spontaneously fixed itself recently.
And this is in a Windows 2000 system.

Or just clean your temp files more often. |

If that's all it would take why would I have this problem immediately after installing a new hard drive with no temp files at all? If hard drives come with pre-installed temp files then perhaps clearing them would help.
