Hi all,
As I play with ASP, I'm finding that I'm coming up against DHTML and the DOM, things which I don't really understand. Can anyone suggest a good beginner's reference book?
Some of the web tutorials are great, but I haven't found one that offers a complete overview and then goes into explaining the details. I'd really like somehing that I can sit with, look at, and refer back to later. Thanks.

I have "Dynamic HTML: The Definitive Reference", Danny Goodman, O' Reilly. It's very good. Just bought the latest edition. It's huge in volume, but it's a great book. |

It's out of stock at Amazon.com.

A former student told me all the Computer Science majors at his school use http://www.bookpool.com ; supposedly cheaper than Amazon. Don't know whether they ship to Japan, though. |

Bookpool ships anywhere. I started buying books from Bookpool even before buying them from Amazon. And you're right Erin, Bookpool is usually cheaper.
Ken you can also try amazon.co.uk, if you want and Bookpool does not have it in stock. |
