I just upgraded from 3.3.05 to 3.4.03 (on SQL), ran setup.asp, reset counts and got the same error. I have two forums, one I was using for testing and the other as my production.
I changed the config to point to the production site. All the pages work, except default.asp. Here is the error:
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.
forum/default.asp, line 95
Any suggestions?

Have you run the Forum Counts in the Admin Options? Line 95 in default.asp is Users = rs1("U_COUNT") |

Run Forum Update Counts and still get the same error. Any other ideas? The other pages in my site still work, just not default.asp.

It does not appear to be cached. I created a default2 and got the same error. What other steps could I take to remedy this?
I ran setup.asp I ran Update Forum Counts
Any other clues?

Here is some additional information. When I run setup.asp again, it only shows this:

Shouldn't it go through the whole process again?

You were correct. I was not chosing the correction version. However, my problem still exists after running setup and update forum counts again.

I kept backups of the older files. The FORUM_TOTALS table is empty.

I forgot, some of the older, unused files are still in the forum directory. Should I remove them? |
